When my cousin announced his wedding would be held in the Dominican Republic, I was immediately on board. I'd been to the Dominican Republic once before, to Punta Cana in 2012 -- but I knew that this trip would be a brand-new and unique experience, as we'd be staying at  a treehouse village in Samana.  Looking down the path from my room!

After years of talking about taking an Alaskan cruise, I finally had the chance to cruise Alaska earlier this month! My husband became a fan of cruising after our cruise on the Jade  around Greece  last October, so before we even disembarked that ship, we put down deposits for future cruises. I used the opportunity to push for Alaska, and we ended up booking for mid-May because my husband was so impatient to have our next cruise on the calendar rather than waiting until later in the summer, haha! Travel Diary: Skiing in Sun Valley, Idaho

While in previous years, I wanted to visit as many other countries as possible, I'm increasingly interested in exploring the beauty of the United States  too. After coming across some photos on social media of Idaho during different seasons, I knew that I wanted to visit -- and I got my opportunity when I learned that the Sun Valley Resort was on the Epic Pass for the 2021-2022  ski season! Since we have the Epic Pass, my husband and I decided to book a few days of skiing in Sun Valley in mid-March.
